Christmas Jumper Day at Swatkins 2018Posted on Dec 20, 2018
Swatkins was pleased to once again take part in the 2018 Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
On Friday 14th December, some of the team at Swatkins Group once again dressed in our Christmas Jumpers and Tops to raise money for an incredible cause, Save the Children UK.
Save the Children UK
The whole team at Swatkins are very glad to be supporting the charity that offers care to millions of children around the world, help bringing essentials such as food, education, and healthcare to those children who are missing out on the most basic support. Our support this year has helped the reading revolution in Rwanda, letting children have the right to read. Save the Children are also training teachers to set up book banks to use reading materials effectively as part of their lessons.
All together we are also helping to prevent the spread and eventually stop pneumonia, which is the biggest infectious killer of young children. Helping teach the locals about the prevention methods too, the basics on how to keep clean, and the danger signs and systems.
What an incredible charity. Swatkins were honoured to be participating with the wonderful charity that gives so much, and we thank everyone from our team that contributed, you have all been very generous and we hope it helps Save the Children a great deal. Not to forget, some of the Christmas jumpers have been fabulous! Well done to Cameron Corns for remembering this year, and thank you to everyone for being silly when asked!!
To all our clients, our future clients, friends and family, we wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a happy and healthy New Year.
Thank you for your continued support over the years, and we look forward to serving you in 2019.
All the very best from everyone at Swatkins Group.
