Champion’s Claret Jug Hand Chased Award

DESCRIPTION

Handmade in Britain, our Champions Claret Jug is a work of art from the Swatkins Supreme collection. Featuring a classic jug-shaped design with a polished silver finish, it is fitted with a unique, solid handle with a lions head at the top with delicate embellishments. Adorned around the entirety of the main body is an extremely intricate and refined pattern, containing carefully positioned lines, leaves and panels. On one side of the main body is a golfer scene, and the opposite side is left blank, ideal for adding your own engraving. This beautiful decoration has been hand chased into the metal surface by highly skilled craftspeople, creating raised and indented designs on the surface, adding depth, texture and unique qualities. No two pieces will ever be the same due to the nature of the manual, free-handed skill and technique.

The spout has been specially hand cut with a patterned edge, showcasing refined decoration. The Claret Jug has been highly polished on all exterior metal surfaces and silver plated, creating the mirror-like finish. The Cup is mounted on a mahogany top cap & plinth; and is fitted with a silver plated plinth band.
